About Tenika
Hello, Beautiful
Let me share a bit about the journey that’s brought me here.
I was born in Perth, but as a child I experienced the constant motion of relocating; a couple different states, multiple regions, too many suburbs and 12 different schools. Each followed by the bittersweet ritual of saying goodbye…when I had the chance.
Those formative years were also marked by other challenging childhood experiences that would ultimately shape the path ahead…

My Journey
As a result, in my teenage years, I grappled with many self-destructive behaviours, trying to find my place in this world.
As life continued to unfold, I embarked on a quest that took me to over 25 countries in search of love, happiness, and acceptance. In this journey of self-discovery, I found not only the world but, most importantly, I found myself.
Just when I thought I had this whole “life” thing down, fate had other plans in store for me. I found myself in a pretty unexpected situation. I ended up knocked up to someone I’d known for, wait for it… a grand total of two months!
So, technically, he wasn’t a complete stranger, but let’s keep the drama alive and call it a massive surprise…. Which as you could imagine lead to some pretty huge decisions.
Now, fast forward to today, and we’re celebrating 17 years together. Yep, I know, it hard to believe. But we got married, brought 2 more awesome little humans into the world, and even added a bunch of fury friends to our clan.
My professional background has been primarily rooted in community services, with a strong focus on the alcohol and other drug sector, where I worked in counselling and leadership roles. For eight years, my family and I resided in the Western Desert of Western Australia, working in remote Aboriginal communities and the local mining towns.
A significant shift occurred when we made the decision to move to New Zealand, driven by my husband’s dreams. It was at this pivotal moment that I decided to follow my own passions. Today, I’m the proud owner of a Wellbeing Hub in South Canterbury, where I’ve dedicated the last seven years to helping women smash it at life!
Utilizing the tools I’ve personally employed to navigate the challenges life has thrown my way, along with my certification in life coaching and specialized training, particularly in mindfulness, I guide women on the path to creating lives they genuinely love and deserve. For, once you are armed with awareness, you gain the power of choice.
When you take the reins of your life, waking up each day with purpose and intent, you have the incredible privilege of paving the path toward the life you truly desire. It’s a journey I am honoured to share with you, and I look forward to being part of your transformative experience.
